Having a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music education, I did not anticipate becoming a business entrepreneur. However, over the years, our family took on historical-building renovations and multiple-unit residential development. I led that business for 40 years and have now turned over most duties to my children. That direction in life fostered a permanent connection with the city of Pomona, where the bulk of our renovations have occurred. At the same time, our interest in music and the arts, led to an ongoing dedication to develop and maintain arts programs wherever possible. I consider FCCF the culmination of that effort to ensure that the arts are a permanent part of our community life.
